Here are my ratings for Supernatural season one, episodes four, five and six.

Episode 4: Phantom Traveler
A former client of Dean’s calls him up when a plane crashes under very mysterious circumstances. After another strange crash occurs, Dean and Sam must board a flight in danger to save the other passengers, even though Dean is terrified of flying.
Rating: 9.5/10. It was a good, and very comical episode!

Episode 5: Bloody Mary
A man dies of an apparent stroke in front of a mirror but Sam and Dean believe something, or someone (Bloody Mary), may be behind his death. Dean tries to help Sam open up about his girlfriend’s death after Sam lets it slip that there’s some information that he hasn’t told Dean about Jessica’s death.
Rating: 10/10. Bloody Mary is dark, creepy, and is one of my favourite episodes from season one!

Episode 6: Skin
Sam’s friend Zach is accused of murder, so Sam offers to help out by checking up on his sister Rebecca, and looking into the case. Rebecca claims that her brother could not have committed the murder because he was with her at the time the murder occurred. Unfortunately, all the physical evidence the police have points to Zach being at the scene of the crime. Sam and Dean have to find out what happened, and wonder could Zach have been at two places at the same time?
Rating: 8.5/10. I like that this episode is fleshy and gross, and has a few particularly funny lines.

Hello Horror Lovers!

Sorry I have disappeared lately, but it was my birthday last week so I have been busy! Anywho, I have been thinking of rating episodes of Supernatural for a while now, so that I can post them for all of you to see and hopefully encourage anyone who isn’t currently watching to watch this awesome show! I have decided that I am going to do this by season, with a few episodes per post, posting my ratings for each episode out of ten, along with a small blurb about the episode. If anyone has any questions about the episode or my rating, just ask!

Season One (2005-2006):

Episode 1: Pilot
Sam is about to graduate from college, and has an interview to potentially join one of the most prestigious law schools in the United States. After a night of celebrating with his girlfriend Jessica, his brother Dean, who he has not seen since leaving for college, shows up in the middle of the night to tell him that their father is missing while on a hunting trip. Sam leaves with Dean to find their father, and wind up in a town named Jericho, where unmarried men have been disappearing without a trace because of a woman in white.
My rating: 9/ 10. It is a very good episode to start off the show!

Episode 2: Wendigo
After seeing Sam’s girlfriend Jessica die, Sam leaves college to continue to search for his father alongside his older brother Dean. Sam and Dean are led to Black Water Ridge on their search for their father, where they end up posing as Park Rangers in order to help a brother and sister find their lost brother. The brothers believe that he was taken by a Wendigo, a creature which was once a man, but was forced to eat human flesh in order to survive, giving him speed, strength and immortality, and is always hungry for more.
My rating: 9.25/ 10. Wendigo is a great episode, probably one of my favourites from season one.

Episode 3: Dead in the Water
While going through the newspaper, Dean comes across a mysterious drowning victim at Lake Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Upon further research Sam and Dean soon discover more people who have drowned in the same lake, but their bodies were never found. When Sam and Dean show up in town they befriend a boy whose father has drowned. They come to believe the lake is haunted by a spirit and must hunt the spirit down before more and more people are killed. This episode stars Amy Acker from Angel.
My rating: 9.5/ 10. I love this episode, and seeing Amy Acker was awesome!

fearFear The Walking Dead premieres tonight at 9pm! I am curious about the show, and what it will contribute to what we know from watching The Walking Dead. The thing is though, with being a huge TWD fan, I am not holding out hope that this new show will be as good, especially since it will be all new characters. Not that I think it will be terrible, but I am cautiously curious about how things will go. What do you all think? Will you be watching tonight?

Here’s a fun fact about a scene with Giles from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

During the scene in season two finale ‘Becoming’ when Giles is tortured by Drusilla, Anthony Stewart Head put chilli peppers in his mouth in order to look convincingly agitated and physically wrecked. Pity poor Juliet Landau, who had to kiss that mouth.

This doesn’t sound pleasant!

Here’s a fun fact I found today about Xander from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Before Willow began dating Tara in season four, Joss Whedon had toyed with the idea of making Xander gay instead.

Imagine if Xander had been gay! Crazy.
