The fun fact I would like to share today is about the film A Nightmare On Elm Street. Supposedly the first studio to show interest in the film was The Walt Disney Company! How crazy is that? They wanted Wes Craven to tone down the film’s content to be suitable for children and youth. Wes Craven obviously declined and went on to make a hugely successful film with New Line Cinema. It would have been extremely strange if ANOES had been a Walt Disney film. I’m glad that didn’t happen- ANOES is one of my favourites!
